In The Irons

Our first stop at The Cavern on Lower Greenville in Dallas.  We’ll be on at 11:30.  Hope to see you there!

Looks like we’re on for playing Lakewood Bar & Grill May 1st with the powerhouse trio Traffico and FAR STAR.  Our esteemed bassist, Alex, plays in Traffico, so he’s looking at a long, but entertaining, night.  In The Irons has the middle slot, but get there early to hear Traffico throw it down.  Zapruder Sequence headlines.  Great stuff, so check their myspace out.

On an exciting note, please give the warmest of welcomes to our new drummer, Cassidy Armstrong!  Cassidy is a veteran of the Dallas music scene, an absolute human click-track and a solid songwriter, bringing a new style and foundation to ITI.  We’ve had a blast practicing with Cassidy and are looking forward to our first live show May 1st.  Cassidy’s former bands include Atom 12 and Evamore, two very successful Dallas acts.  He’s also been working for over a year on his own solo material at BPL Studios in Dallas, so he and Matt have a ton in common already.

We hope to see you at LBG!!

Looks like we’re kicking off the night, going on first at around 8:30.  Should be a fun show, though we’re still working out the details on whether it will be Mark and Matt acoustic or full band.  (Ex-ITI drummer Steve Bivins resigned his post a week or so ago and we’re jamming with some new faces this week.  Trial by Fire!).

We’re on the bill with Alex Kogan, Justin Kipker Show, and Johnny Burke.
